A generation of reconstruction
Sarajevo Ljubavi Moja
Maja is born in Sarajevo, with an adolescence crossed by the war. Maja studied international law and became a lawyer specializing in war crimes, criminal justice and the fight against corruption. She specialized in the prosecution of war crimes officers, including ten years as an assistant to the prosecutor of the Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
She maintains a very privileged relationship with her niece, Ajsha, born well after the war. The deep bonds that unite the women of this family, their strength, this peaceful and loving daily life: all contrast with their past and that of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Today, on the few places that have not yet been rebuilt, the vegetation has taken over the ruins, with something of the order of beauty and grandeur. Today, Sarajevo is alive. Maja and Ajsha belong to the generation of reconstruction.
